Sew the Word is a monthly sewing group dedicated to communicating God’s Word through creativity. The ministry is more than just learning the basics of sewing techniques.

Sew the Word is a chance for women to enjoy fellowship and communicate God’s Word, while celebrating God’s presence. As well as helping the community by donating the things we create, Sew the Word is also a chance for those involved to grow more mature in their Christian walk through Bible study, prayer time and sharing with others.

We have made and distributed fleece hats and scarves to homeless shelters, baby blankets and bibs to crisis pregnancy centers, and our main focus, comfort quilts, to people in need of comfort because of illness or personal crisis.
